In essence, the project was to work with resident volunteers on three sites to transform unused areas of grass on the estates to create areas that would be valued, used and maintained by residents. The work involved creating wildflower areas, building and planting up raised beds with vegetables and herbs, building bird boxes and bird hotels, planting fruit trees, litter picking and for residents to learn about waste reduction, re-use and recycling. The three sites were at Garth Meadow in Knighton, Tan-y-Bryn in Llanidloes and Troed y Rhiw in Llandrindod Wells.
