In July, over 200 residents from Tai Ceredigion, Tai Cantref and Mid-Wales Housing attended a fun day for all the family at Plas Crug Leisure centre in Aberystwyth. People came from as far as Cardigan and Newtown to enjoy a day of arts and crafts as well as information from over thirty organisations providing services in the community. It was an excellent way of engaging with people of all ages, working in partnership with other organisations while bringing people together within the community.

In Welshpool we partnered with Powys County Council to host a second fun day with a DIY twist. The event focused on teaching people basic DIY skills useful in the home. Information and advice was also available from a range of organisations and services available in the area from training and volunteering opportunities, neighbourhood safety and recycling. The event was a great day enjoyed by all.
