The Association is delighted to have completed the development at Coed-y-Llan, Llanidloes during the year. The development consists of 31 new affordable homes which were developed in two phases with a mix of property types ranging from one- to four-bedroom houses, two-bedroom bungalows and one-bedroom flats.
The design and build contract for this development was awarded to Pickstock Partnerships from Maesbury, near Oswestry. The construction work was managed by the Association’s project manager, S.P. Projects from Mold, and supervised by Mid-Wales Housing.
Nick Scott, CEO of Pickstock Partnerships, commented: “Pickstock Partnerships has been delighted to work alongside Mid-Wales Housing Association to assist in the delivery of this important housing scheme, providing 31 high quality, affordable homes to the local community. We pride ourselves on our ability to work in close partnership with our clients, providing a high quality professional service, with a proven capability to take a project from inception through to completion.”
Mrs. Sian Howells, Director of New Business of Mid-Wales Housing, said: “We are delighted to facilitate this development in Llanidloes. The properties are highly energy efficient and have dual zone heating systems which will make them affordable to heat for our tenants. The homes have been allocated to applicants in housing need who live, work or offer some form of voluntary commitment to the area.
We are very proud of the properties that we have built at Coedy-Llan in conjunction with Pickstock Parnerships, and hope that our residents will enjoy living in their new homes”.
“I want to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in creating this marvellous house, you really have thought of everything”
